Monochromatic Emotion Painting with Tempera.

1. I think I mixed different variants of the color blue well. All of the colors look like they belong together.
2. I think I could have added more detail around the trees because I feel that there isn't enough.
3. I represented a calm emotion. I depicted this by giving everything a slow-paced look. I chose this emotion because I want to use blue in my painting and I felt that it was a good hue for this emotion.
4. I chose blue for my main hue because I like the different shades and tints of it.
5. The ground and trees are the shades of my painting and the background and moon are the tints of my painting. I chose these places because I thought it would create good contrast between them.
6. I learned that getting advice from others helps out a lot when trying to figure out what to do for my work. You could apply this to life by not being stubborn and take help from others.
7. My painting was a little planned but I also painted some of it as I went. It didn't turn out the way I had planned on it being because as I started painting it I got different ideas than what was on my sketch.
8. I thought this project was worthwhile because it helps out a lot with painting skills. To make the project better it could involve ideas for the paintings other than emotions because there are other ideas that could be just as good.
